Situated close to the centre of town, the Kisii Hotel is an old established business.
Built in the 1920s, it retains a quaint colonial style, but offers all the amenities that the modern traveller expects, catering for families, backpackers and campers in the new campsite.
Accommodation is clean if a little shabby, but this is more than reflected in the very low prices.
But where the Kisii Hotel scores 10/10 is the grounds. They are magnificent, offering a large expanse of lawn with mature trees and several gazebos where the visitor can eat al fresco while admiring the splashes of vivid colour provided by the indigenous plants and trees.
The hotel offers a dining room, lounge and bar area as well as a large covered patio, conference hall and the aforementioned gazebos set in the copious grounds.
Accommodation comprises four room sizes, catering for a large range of needs. Rooms can be booked bed & breakfast, half-board or full board.
Most have en suite bathrooms or shower rooms and all have TV (satellite will soon be availabe).
Kisii Hotel also offers a small, quiet camp site.
